As you know, I serve with a team at Church Headquarters called Quality Resolution Service. We coordinate repairs for content problems, so any text, link, and image errors with any lesson manuals, missionary pamphlets, general conference talks, magazine articles, and even scriptures.
We are a missionary-run team, so that means we get to coordinate and sometimes even fix these problems for free! Not a lot of church employees around the world are aware of our service and find themselves having to decline projects or repairs because they don't have the time.
QRS is putting together a presentation to introduce our repair team to other employees or repair teams.
We want to show real-life people that our team affects. Our team repairs English and Non-English content on church apps like Gospel Library, on church websites like LDS.org, and even PDFs of printed manuals. If you have ever used a church product, that means we affect you.
So take some pictures to show your gratitude for the products the church publishes for its members!
Please email me some nice pictures showing people using church products.
Picture ideas:
- family in scripture study
- sunday school class watching a video
- primary teacher preparing using LDS.org
- missionary discussion with an investigator reading a digital pamphlet
- seminary teachers showing LDS.org on a tv screen
- seminary classes using Gospel Library app
- child keeping busy on the Gospel Library app in sacrament meeting
Helpful hints:
- Showing your product usage would be best if showing how you use digital church products, since QRS mostly does digital repairs, but printed is good, too.
- Candid photos are great, but posed photos are good, too.
- We really want some racial and linguistic and environmental diversity to show how we impact the church globally. (by environmental, I mean you should try to take a picture outside to show where you are)
Thanks!
Sister Gee
P.S. If you know any missionaries or other church product users, copy and paste this post into an email or share the link to this post!
I wish I had seen this yesterday at church because now it's conference week and I won't be in the church building or library until two weeks.
